I’ve always believed in storytelling through creative work. Something that makes you pause, think, admire, and go "huh." When I was younger, I’d spend hours making iMovie videos and snapping photos on my digital camera, trying to capture the stories I saw around me. From dancing gummy worm music videos to photos of my friends in middle school, each creation represented a chapter of my life and froze those emotions, memories, and thoughts in time. That's what I love so much about telling stories and capturing them.
I’m originally from Denver, Colorado, and am a senior at the University of Michigan studying Business Administration and Marketing. On campus, I bring stories to life as the Head Photo Editor at the Michiganensian Yearbook, a Producer at Filmic Productions, and a Photographer for SHEI Magazine, where I’ve learned that every photo, whether it’s a brand campaign, a championship football game, or a senior portrait, is about connection and storytelling.
This past semester, I got to do even more of that. I backpacked across Europe (with a quick stop in China) over 100 days, visiting 15 countries and more than 45 cities to capture what makes up the human experience: food, culture, nature, and community.
Working with me is about telling your story warmly, with the authenticity of who you are in this moment. I’ll guide you where needed, but also step back when the session unfolds naturally in laughter, movement, and emotion that feels unmistakably true to you.
Take a look around here. I hope you feel the same nostalgia, joy, and connection that inspire the moments I capture.
